It all started when…

Thank you for visiting The JamZone’s website- I hope that we can share our passion for music with your family! As a 9-year-old kid in the 1980’s, living in suburban Maryland, I had a ton of unfocused energy (before there was something called “ADHD”) but showed an excitement for beating on pots and pans… so my parents did the natural thing, they got me drum lessons. This led to a lot of firsts: 

• 12 years old: Joining my first rock band 

• 13 years old: Doing my first gig at a friend’s bar mitzvah 

• 16: Recording my first record (yes, I said record)!

• 22: Graduating Berklee College of Music 

• 27: Discovering songwriting and recording my own original album in LA

• 34: Having my first child, and mini-me drummer.

• 36: Founding InHome Jams in Newton, MA and over the course of 10 years, growing the company to over 200 families.

Fast forward to today, the opening of the first JamZone, which I hope is to be the first of many!  I promise to offer your family the coolest classes, the best instructors, raddest events, and the keys to your very own modern music clubhouse!
