Tuition, Policies, & Procedures

TUITION

  1. You will receive a minimum of 34 classes from Sept-June.

  2. Your tuition pays for enrollment, not the number of classes received. Tuition is paid on the same date each month, by autopay.

  3. Tuition is the same each month no matter how many weeks are in that month. In the case of a multi-student family, we do not apply credit to one child's tuition if another child withdraws from the program.

  4. No refunds are given for missed classes or if a student misses a makeup class.

AUTHORIZATION FOR AUTO PAYMENT

By enrolling in The JamZone, you agree to participate in our monthly billing program (autopay). The JamZone will initiate recurring entries to your bank account or credit card account. 

CALENDAR

The JamZone adheres to our own studio calendar. Please do not assume that our calendar is aligned with public schools, as we remain open on some public holidays.

MISSED CLASSES/MAKEUPS

KidzRock Jr. Rockerz, and Lesson Program (Rock Drumming, Pop Piano, and Guitar 101) 

To be eligible for a makeup credit we require at least 24 hours notice by email. You will be notified within 48 hours of makeup possibilities. Makeups are based on the honor system, and should not exceed 3 makeups per calendar year. Please note that day-of absences, including sickness, are not excused, and are not eligible for a makeup class. Should you miss your scheduled makeup lesson, your makeup credit will be forfeited. 

Performance Program (CoverBandz Rookies, CoverBandz, and TeenBandz) 

Due to the customized nature of our bands, we cannot offer makeups for absent members. 

WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS

In the event of inclement weather, that results in school closings, please do not assume that classes are cancelled. Unless you are contacted directly by the office, classes are to occur at their regularly-scheduled times. We do not offer makeup for inclement weather cancellations.

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE

The JamZone likes to keep our current and prospective families up-to-date with our student successes and our company's exciting new programs. Occasionally we will take video/photo of lessons and/or performances for this use, though we only use first names. By registering you agree that the JamZone can photograph/video your child's classes, performance(s) and use photo(s) or video(s) within our websites, brochures, flyers, marketing, online marketing, etc. If you do not want to give us permission, please just let us know.

HEARING PROTECTION (Performance Program)

The JamZone strongly recommends the use of hearing protection for all our bands rehearsing in the studio room (CoverBandz and TeenBandz). We provide disposable ear plugs for all students and we strongly recommend parents to purchase non-disposable high fidelity ear plugs which can be purchased at most online retailers. 

UNENROLLMENT FROM THE PROGRAM

To withdraw from The JamZone, fill out the withdrawal form on our website. Please note, we require one full month’s notice (no later than the first of the month). Failure to do so will result in being obligated to pay until the end of the next complete month, during which the student will be welcome to attend their class. Should you choose to unenroll from The JamZone,all prior missed classes are forfeited and there are no refunds.

Due to demand,  we are unable to provide a pause in your enrollment. Should you want to take a leave, we offer makeup credits for those absences to be used during your membership at the JamZone, per Makeup Policy above.
